Mack Defense Donates Proceeds from Mack Anthem Camo Diecast Sales to Fisher House Foundation →

Mack Defense in cooperation with Mack Trucks announced a multiyear partnership with Fisher House Foundation in which proceeds from the Mack Anthem Digi Camo diecast model sales will be donated to the nonprofit serving military and veterans families. Mack will donate $20,000 this year for sales in 2019 and 2020, and will contribute up to $10,000 more next year as sales continue. Since launching its redesigned website over the summer, Premier Manufacturing has seen website traffic climb to record numbers. Site traffic is up six-fold, according to Premier Director of Marketing Steve Hansen. The spike in site traffic is attributed to new built-in search engine optimization and increased social media activity with content marketing and search engine AdWords. Next year, haulers in Europe will be able to order all-electric versions of Volvo's heavy-duty trucks. This means that Volvo Trucks will offer a complete heavy-duty range with electric drivelines starting in Europe in 2021. Volvo Trucks' massive drive towards electrification marks a major step forwards on the road to fossil-free transport, according to the manufacturer. The Town of Irondequoit, N.Y.'s Department of Public Works was looking to replace some antiquated fleet assets. To assist with the new assets' procurement, they looked to Nick Padulo, commercial and municipal account manager of Tracey Road Equipment in Rochester, N.Y. The town would be replacing a 1998 lowboy and tractor that was nearing the end of its service life. Mack Trucks announced a new version of its 13-liter Mack MP 8HE engine that improves fuel efficiency by up to 3 percent compared to the current MP8HE.
