Legend Transportation worked with TEC Equipment to order 50 VNL 860s, Volvo Trucks' flagship sleeper with top-of-the-line features that will be manufactured at the Volvo Trucks New River Valley Assembly Operations (NRV) in Dublin, Va. Kenworth Introduces PACCAR MX-13 CARB-Compliant Engine for T680, T880, W990 Models →

Kenworth introduced a California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant version of the PACCAR MX-13 engine for heavy-duty Kenworth models that meet 2024 requirements. The new PACCAR MX-13 CARB-compliant engine is available to order now on select Class 8 models, including the T680, T880 and W990. Production will begin in the fourth quarter of 2024. Volvo to Launch Hydrogen-Powered Trucks →

Trucks that run on green hydrogen instead of fossil fuels provide one way to decarbonize transport. Hydrogen trucks will be especially suitable over longer distances and in regions where there is limited charging infrastructure, or time for, recharging of batteries. Kevin Athmann, beam welder operator, joined the Felling Trailers team in November of 1999, initially working with the Finishing team, and then transitioned to weld production. "I was in Finishing for a couple of months when my dad, Vern Athmann, lead welder in the deck over trailers, asked me to help in bay 16 welding," said Athmann. Isuzu Motors Limited and Gatik AI Inc. have agreed to further enhance the development of the North American autonomous driving business.
