With the rapidly expanding interest in heavy-duty electric trucks, Hino Trucks and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) have agreed to jointly develop a Class 8 fuel cell electric truck (FCET) for the North American market. The companies will leverage the newly developed Hino XL Series chassis with Toyota's fuel cell technology to deliver enhanced capability without harmful emissions.This collaboration expands upon the existing effort to develop a 25-ton FCET for the Japanese market, which was announced earlier this year. Felling Trailers Inc. conducted its eighth annual online auction of an FT-3 drop deck utility trailer to benefit a non-profit organization: the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). A winning bid of $4,650 won the online auction that ended at noon on World Lymphoma Awareness Day, Sept. 15th, 2020. The bid winner was Adam Seifert of Springfield, Minn. A customer needed to replace an older antiquated fleet asset. The replacement trailer would be used to transport, payout and install underground conductor without damaging the material. When installing an underground conductor, precautions must be taken to ensure the integrity of the material being paid out.
