Mack Trucks announced a new version of its 13-liter Mack MP 8HE engine that improves fuel efficiency by up to 3 percent compared to the current MP8HE. Mack Trucks announced a multi-year partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) that will see Mack donate proceeds from the sales of a limited edition production run of pink Mack Anthem diecast models. Mack made an initial donation of $10,000 to NBCF and will contribute up to $25,000 more over the next two years as sales of the unique diecast models continue. Volvo Trucks Awarded $21.7M to Deploy VNR Electric Zero-Emission Trucks →

Volvo Trucks North America was awarded $21.7 million in grants to deploy 70 VNR Electric trucks in Southern California for regional freight distribution and drayage. With the rapidly expanding interest in heavy-duty electric trucks, Hino Trucks and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) have agreed to jointly develop a Class 8 fuel cell electric truck (FCET) for the North American market. Felling Trailers Inc. conducted its eighth annual online auction of an FT-3 drop deck utility trailer to benefit a non-profit organization: the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). A winning bid of $4,650 won the online auction that ended at noon on World Lymphoma Awareness Day, Sept. 15th, 2020. The bid winner was Adam Seifert of Springfield, Minn.
