As construction equipment gets heavier and more varied, an extendable trailer can provide the versatility needed. The new XL hydraulic detachable extendable trailers feature a new main deck design, extend-a-trac technology and durability. The XL HDE is available in a 40-ton (36 t) — 80,000 lb. (36,287 kg) overall and 60,000 lb. (27,215 kg) in 10 ft. (3 m) concentrated capacity — and a 45-ton (40.8 t) — 90,000 lb. (40,283 kg) overall and 70,000 lb. (31,751 kg) in 10 ft. concentrated capacity.

The two axle, 48 ft. (14.6 m) long trailer has a 28 ft. 7 in. (8.7 m) main closed deck that extends up to 49 ft. 11 in. (15.2 m) with extension stops every 24 in. (61 cm).

The new one-piece track pan design adds stability in the extend-a-trac. The extend-a-trac technology allows users to extend and retract the trailer without hooking and unhooking air and electric lines.

The main deck comes standard with 14 chain drops, 8 bent D-rings per side, and removable swingout outrigger brackets on 24 in. centers (for use with swingout outriggers).

The 10 ft. 5 in. (3.2 m) long hydraulic neck offers variable ride height with seven positions, 49 in. (124 cm) fifth wheel height, and 84 in. (213 cm) swing clearance, air operated lock with safety latch, as well as brackets for a 36 in. (91 cm) flip neck. Chose to run off of a wet kit or add a 13 hp (9.7 kW) Honda hydraulic unit. Rugged Apitong decking covers the main deck and rear bridge. Choose from 54 or 60 in. (137 or 152 cm) axle spacing based on your needs.
