Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. broke multiple sales records in 2018, making last year its new benchmark for sales of Isuzu-brand trucks and Isuzu parts. This marks the fourth year in a row that Isuzu has established records in these important metrics. Isuzu dealers retailed 23,914 Isuzu trucks to customers in 2018 — a record for Isuzu-brand trucks in the United States. After a journey of more than 3,000 miles from Oregon, the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree was lit in a special ceremony Dec. 6, on the Capitol's West Lawn. The 80-foot Noble Fir is adorned with thousands of LED lights and ornaments made by Oregon residents. The 54th U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree – an 80-ft. Noble Fir from Oregon's Willamette National Forest – has started its nearly 3,000-mile journey to Washington, D.C., following its Nov. 2 harvesting near Sweet Home, Ore. The Oregon Forest Service nominated six trees as candidates for the special honor. Hillsboro, Ore.–based Omega Morgan specializes in heavy rigging and transportation, among other services. The company recently hauled one of the heaviest combination loads in Washington state history, weighing in at nearly one million lbs. Washington state issues between 600 to 700 "superload" permits a year – meaning the combined weight of a tractor and trailer exceeds 200,000 lbs. Kenworth has announced new colors and interior stylings on its flagship on-highway Kenworth T680 and vocational leader Kenworth T880 models. The new choices also will be available with the newly introduced Kenworth W990.
