Mack Trucks Academy Offering Free eLearning Courses for High Schools, Secondary Technical Schools →

On April 28, Mack Trucks launched free 90-day access to eLearning courses for high school and secondary technical education students interested in becoming a diesel technician, but who cannot attend in-person hands-on training because of the COVID-19 situation. The courses, provided to students through their local Mack dealer, will provide an option for training typically done in a classroom. Mack Defense Awarded Contract from U.S. General Services Administration →

Mack Defense has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to supply the full range of Mack-branded products to federal agencies for a variety of applications. The one-year contract, which runs to January 2021, includes two additional GSA-optioned one-year extensions, which could push the contract through 2022. Kenworth T880S with Set-Forward Axle Adds Optional Fixed Grille →

The Kenworth T880S with set-forward front axle has added a new fixed grille option. A radiator-mounted grille is now available for the T880S equipped with the 114-in. BBC short hood. The new option allows the hood to be opened in applications where equipment is mounted to the front of the T880S. The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced $30.1 million in grants as part of the Local Freight Impact Fund program that help counties and municipalities provide for the safe movement of large truck traffic.
