Volvo Trucks North America will showcase its newest truck lineup, expanded connected services and award‑winning safety technologies at the Technology & Maintenance Council's Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, taking place March 16–19 at the Music City Center in Nashville.
Volvo Trucks will host a press conference on March 16, 6:00–6:30 p.m. in booth #1301, where the company will preview new connected services designed to further improve fleet uptime and reveal early details of a new vocational truck engineered in North America to expand its presence in construction, waste and refuse, concrete, logging, agriculture, heavy-haul highway and municipal.
"The innovations we are showcasing at TMC are designed around one goal: helping fleets run more efficiently," said Peter Voorhoeve, president of Volvo Trucks North America. "From our expanded connectivity tools to our latest VNR and VNL models, we continue to invest in innovations that improve uptime, reduce operating costs and support the people behind the wheel."
New Volvo VNR Leads Truck Lineup at TMC
Taking center stage is the new Volvo VNR 300, which began production in February 2026 at Volvo's New River Valley plant in Dublin, Va. Designed for high-density regional and urban operations, the new VNR delivers enhanced maneuverability, advanced connectivity and improved fuel efficiency to support demanding fleet applications, according to Volvo.
Also featured in the booth is the Volvo VNL 860, Volvo's flagship long-haul model which was introduced in 2024 with a ground-up redesign that advanced aerodynamics, integrated new safety technologies and elevated driver comfort to deliver measurable gains in fuel efficiency and uptime, according to Volvo.
Both the VNL and VNR are built at Volvo's New River Valley plant in Dublin, Va. By engineering and manufacturing its trucks in the United States, Volvo Trucks continues to invest in domestic production while advancing vehicle and connectivity technologies tailored to North American fleets.
Beyond the trucks, Volvo Trucks will demonstrate its latest connected services and digital tools designed to help fleets maximize uptime and profitability. The company's expanding digital ecosystem reflects the increasing role of software and data in modern fleet operations. Attendees can experience:
• Load Finder, which aggregates data from more than 40 load boards into a single platform to reduce empty miles, improve route optimization and increase revenue opportunities.
• The Volvo Connect kiosk with live demonstrations of self-serve remote programming capabilities and proactive software updates that give fleets greater operational control and streamlined maintenance management.
During TMC, Volvo Trucks' integrated side curtain airbag also will be recognized as a Heavy Duty Trucking 2026 Top 20 product, an award honoring the most innovative new or significantly improved products introduced to the trucking industry in 2025. Now standard on every new Volvo VNL and Volvo VNR built for the North American market, the technology reflects Volvo's continued focus on protecting drivers and advancing vehicle safety.
Attendees are invited to visit Volvo Trucks in booth #1301 throughout the show to explore the company's latest innovations and speak with product experts.
