New and Used Tank Trucks for Sale

Tank trucks — also referred to as road tankers — are designed to carry liquefied loads, dry bulk cargo or gasses on roads. Common uses are gas/fuel trucks, water trucks and septic trucks, but many other liquid goods, such as concrete, milk, oil and industrial chemicals, also may be transported in these vehicles. Tank trucks are constructed of various materials depending on what products they are hauling. These materials include aluminium, carbon steel, stainless steel and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). The size of a tank truck can vary greatly, but they tend to be large and many are classified as semi-trailer trucks. The largest tank trucks, usually reserved for long hauls, that transport materials long distances can carry up to 9,000 gallons. Smaller versions, often used for in-town transport, may haul about 2,900 gallons or less. Used tank trucks can be purchased by visiting Construction Equipment Guide’s website.
