The Kenworth T680 on-highway flagship and Kenworth T880 and T880S vocational leaders are now available with the Cummins Westport L9N near zero NOx emissions natural gas engine. The L9N engine is certified to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) optional low NOx standard of 0.02 g/bhp-hr — a 90 percent reduction from engines operating at the current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) NOx limit of 0.2 g/bhp-hr. In addition to ultra-low emissions, the L9N features on-board diagnostic capability, a maintenance-free three-way catalyst, closed crankcase ventilation system, and an engine control module with excellent durability, according to the manufacturer.  Click for more...

After all online and text message votes were counted, Neil Behnke, a volunteer with the nonprofit organization Black Forest Together, was chosen by the public as the grand prize winner of the second annual John Deere “Small Machines. Big Impact.” contest at the 2018 John Deere Classic Chairman's Dinner. Etnyre's Donation Helps Restore Historic Statue →

A 107-year-old statue will soon be restored thanks to a donation from E.D. Etnyre & Co. The Black Hawk statue, also known as the Eternal Indian statue, which sits 48 ft. tall in Oregon, Ill., was created by artist Lorado Taft in 1910, the RR Star reported. Edward D. Brasfield & Gorrie recently enabled a select group of graduating seniors from The University of Alabama to enter the job market armed with resumes that include hands-on experience with emerging technologies in the construction field, including assembling and operating 3D printers.
