Volvo Trucks
Three dealer service teams from the Volvo Trucks North America network are heading to Gothenburg, Sweden, this September after advancing past 35 other semi-finalist teams to earn coveted spots in the VISTA 2026 World Finals.
They'll join top-performing teams from more than 100 countries in VISTA — the Volvo International Service Training Award — Volvo Trucks' flagship aftermarket competition and the world's largest competition for service market professionals. The biennial program engages thousands of service professionals across Volvo Trucks' global dealer network in a high-energy, hands-on championship that celebrates the people behind the trucks while challenging dealership teams to sharpen their technical knowledge, strengthen collaboration and elevate customer support through real-world service scenarios.
Participants advance through multiple rounds of theoretical and practical challenges, including timed diagnostics, troubleshooting exercises and team-based problem solving that replicate real workshop conditions, from electrical systems to complex vehicle diagnostics. Each stage pushes teams to think fast, collaborate under pressure and deliver the kind of service excellence customers depend on.
"VISTA is one of my favorite programs because it represents everything that makes the Volvo Trucks service network so strong — passion, teamwork, technical excellence and a relentless commitment to supporting our customers," said Peter Voorhoeve, president, Volvo Trucks North America. "Programs like this highlight the expertise across our dealer network, and seeing these teams earn a place on the global stage is a significant accomplishment. It's a proud moment for them and the dealerships they represent."
"Continuous learning is critical in today's rapidly evolving service environment, and VISTA brings that learning to life in a way that's engaging and rewarding," said Steven Parkins, vice president, Volvo Trucks Academy. "The competition reflects the passion our dealership teams bring to supporting customers every day and highlights the importance of investing in ongoing training across the Volvo Trucks network."
Following the North American semi-finals held May 4–17, 2026, three teams secured their spot in the VISTA 2026 world finals, taking place Sept. 7–11, 2026, in Gothenburg, Sweden — the home of Volvo Trucks.
The North American teams advancing to the VISTA 2026 Final Event are:
• "Regenerates" — Beaver Truck Centre — Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is the fifth time that the dealership has sent a team to VISTA.
• "Adaptive Crews" — Sterling Truck & Trailer Sales LTD — Regina, Saskatchewan
• "~~~VN4~~~" — Bruckner's Truck & Equipment — Dallas, Texas
Built On Teamwork Since 1957
First launched in Sweden in 1957, VISTA has grown into a biennial global event involving participants from more than 100 countries across Volvo Trucks' and Volvo Buses' worldwide service network. Teams of two to four members compete through multiple rounds of theoretical and practical challenges, with the world's top teams advancing to the finals in Gothenburg. VISTA plays a vital role in strengthening the Volvo Trucks service network by fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation and building confidence across teams. By simulating real-world workshop challenges, the program helps ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality service wherever their trucks operate.
